League of Women Voters Candidate forum featuring Joe Walsh & Melissa Bean for the first time.

While the actual forum was stuffy, controlled and the audiece was not allowed to utter a word or ask any candidate any question directly.

There was a moment when the moderator for the League of Women Voters was schooled on what it means to be an American all caught on tape.

Enjoy.

This is one of the precious moments in a campaign season.

ooh lookie here, notice that Walsh clapped his hands and then that's when everybody got up. Think he didn't plant these people in the first place? and when the candidate forum proceeded to the next two candidates and Walsh left, almost the entire audience followed until there were barely anybody left, mostly the students who got their tickets at school BEFORE ticket sales opened to the public. You know how many people we had to turn down

@panpan4088 Understand, these are folks in the 8th who have been waiting all election season for Bean to answer for votes on Cap and trade, the stimulus bill, tarp, cash for clunkers and a host of others. She ignored her constitutents. I thought they were very mild mannered considering. If you want to blame someone, blame Bean for ignoring her district.

Aside from that, the whole time, you were poking fun at Melissa Bean rather than answering the questions that were asked to you. You also have a blatant disregard of the forum rules, speaking out of turn especially when Bean was speaking. Weren't you taught at a young age to obey rules? I think not.

Get over it. You overly Patriotic people have taken all the meaning out of say, wearing a flag pin, or saying the pledge. Its a soulless gesture at this point, and its ridiculous to claim someone hates America just because they decide not to have everyone stand up like drones and recite the Pledge. Its the same thing with like, wearing a suit at a funeral, or taking your hat off during the National Anthem.

Patriotism, or respect is something you have in your heart. No gesture shows that...
