Colwyn Bay drugs warrants

Police in Colwyn Bay today executed four warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Two people were arrested and a quantity of controlled drugs were seized from properties in Colwyn Bay and Old Colwyn as part of the continued "Operation Abet", which took place in September.

Insp Jane Banham said: "The warrants were intelligence led, targeting the issues that matter most to the community, in a proactive manner."

"Information received through our Neighbourhood Policing Teams who are crucial to this process will continue to be actioned and I hope that this reassures the public that we do listen to their concerns and will address their issues in a positive manner."
