A metalhead like myself is extremely happy when i hear tunes like this :D
gotta find a copy of this game

@salozmen29 Eh, I wouldn't say $60-70 is too pricy.

I have both versions. The Sega CD version is missing a few colors, but the graphics are almost pixel for pixel identical to the Turbo Duo version. With my Turbo Grafx CD & Sega CD plugged into the same TV I was able to play to the same point in several stages and switch from one system to the other. You could almost not even tell the difference. It is sad that more games like this did not come out for the Sega CD.

@dannyofthededd Fortunately you can download Lords of Thunder on the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console. The Turbo Duo version of this game looked and sounded better anyway. You can download lot's of great Genesis titles on Virtual Console but as of yet there are no Sega CD games to download which kinda sucks.

without sounding like a total philistine,us poor folk could really do with a sweet "best of" megaCD and 32X compilation for the ps3,wii or xbox...
don't get me wrong,.i much prefer using the original hardware but it's too expensive and my MCD is on it's last legs.
wonder how hard it would be to get the licences? i mean..the pc engine version of this has already been ported to wii and surely hideokojima or konami would welcome some income from snatcher.
spose it int that simple

What a sweet looking game, too bad it costs a fortune.

Armin van Buuren is the pilot of the vehicle used in this game.

@123doomdoom Mega Cd version also has flicker, specially in Boss stages, but also in some stage backgrounds. It seems the Mega CD port uses sprites instead of background layers. Yeah, it is really weird, but perhaps this development team did not had enough knowledge or time to do a better version. Anyway, Mega CD version is easier for me, I managed to complete all selectable levels, something I could not do in TGFX versino
-
@copadera33 Bro, i suggest you do you research....the TGFX version has to fake parallax by using sprites as background objects (It has one background), where as sega cd has 2 backgrounds so it does not have to do that. Also, TG version may have slight flicker, but SCD version has slowdown, which distracts the player and if you play the hardest difficulty, there are revenge bullets that cover the screen.
