North Korea Televsion- news item and children's story time.

Sample of North Korean TV recorded off air live during a trip there in August 2011. This was the station as received in our hotel. apparently they are supposed to have 3 channels, but we only received this 1, which appeared to be a compile of the best of the channels, but is hard to confirm.

This was late afternoon broadcast of an item which appeared to be about the Kimjongilia flower, (we were lucky enough to have an impromptu visit to the display and cultivation centre during our time in Pyongyang, amazing looking piece of botany!) followed by a children's story time featuring a North Korean take on the 3 little pigs.

Ubuntu can translate the Three Little Pigs story: "A long long time ago in a workers paradise far away, there were three naughty little capitalist pigs. The three pigs said to mama pig 'Where is our daily ration of cat guts to go with our rice ball?' Mother said 'You ungrateful little porkers, are you not willing to starve for the Dear Leader!" The next day, the little pigs were sent to "re-education' camps. They haven't been seen since. The End"
