It was because we were doing two crockpot recipes that day and we moved it into a second we had on hand.

can you do this with chicken breasts or would that be too dry?

Well I do the same thing with chicken breasts in the shredded chicken mixture. But I think it might be a bit too dry by itself.

question: I have cooked carrots and potatoes 4x, in crockpot recipes and they always come out still hard. I cut up my potatoes small, I see on video's cut in chunks. So they should be hard too.
