  • Why didn't you start the two tied leaders at 4 like they did on the original show?

  • Because it was a long time since I saw Split Second, and I never recalled what they did if they were tied.

  • i kinda misworded that. even if that 1 had been answered, how could that have affected the scores?

  • It would not have affected the score since it was not answered by anyone. But, if Anthony did answer that, then I'd invite him back on a future episode anyway

  • does the fact that you misread the 1 answer for the carmen sandiego question really matter?

  • It really didn't, even though I thought everyone should know of that mistake as well

  • As we were talking about on the show tonight. The certain questions such as: Masters of The Maze, Carmen Sandiego, $1 Million Chance and Star Fox were WAY too esoteric. I don't think the real people would get the right answers, except Hardy but that's no guarentee.

Plus the messed up tie and memory buster, were among Greg's points he made tonight.

  • @killerb255

So the penultimate Countdown score before the Star Fox 64 question should have been Taryn = 1, Anthony = 1, Michelle = 2 (so Michelle wouldn't have needed to answer the MacBeth question).

  • @mtiller2006

Countdown Round # of question parts to win:

    Kennedy: 1st place = 3; 2nd place = 4; 3rd place = 5

    Hall: 1st place = 4; 2nd place = 5; 3rd place = 6

I don't know how ties are resolve in the Kennedy version, but the Hall version was like this:

    Tie for 1st place = 4 each with third place = 5, so 4, 4, 5 (that throws people off--one would think 4, 4, 6)

    Tie for 2nd place = 5 each with first place = 4, so 4, 5, 5

Three way tie for 1st place = all 4's. :)

  • the errors had nothing to do with the misreading

  • AARRGGHH! not what i meant, i KNOW it wasn't answered, but even if it had been answered, how would the fact that u misworded it call for a score adjustment.
