@ZachreyCA Yes, those small metal alligator clips are your friend. They work very well to block the heat coming down the line!

Question: One side of the cell is positive, one is negative. Why do the cells have two wires running on each side instead of just one wire? Is this just for current load? Reason I am asking is I got some junk cells and these are from larger cells being cut in half. Thus, I only have one existing spot in the middle of each cell to solder a tab (without scratching my own spots). Can I use a single tabbing wire on the cells? (total panel expected to be <30 watts)

Can you use normal insulated copper wire as bus wire?

@78UNKNOWN Yes, I did in the demo panel in the first video. I was out of Bus wire. Just match the Amps.
