Recording artist Sasha Lazard performs "Hero" - a song written for and inspired by the seriously ill children that Starlight Children's Foundation serves. Sasha performs the song at Starlight's annual 2009 "A Stellar Night" gala at the Beverly Hilton, which honored Teri Hatcher and Nintendo of America and its president Reggie Fils-Aime. Sasha is introduced by the host of the evening, Starlight Global Ambassador and jazz great Dave Koz.
i can't wait for the day when science will take away the need for these foundations, but until that day comes let us rejoice in what time we have with these little hero's.

This song is so inspiring. Has it been recorded yet?
If so, where can we find the song?

This song is spectacular. Beautiful words, lovely melody and gorgeous vocals. Sasha has a most remarkable voice and the children are lovely. I really enjoyed watching this and thinking about heroes. We all need a hero!

This song was very touching. It is a very special and beautiful song. Our family belongs to Star Light-Star Bright. Our daughter was born with a heart defect. Star Light-Star Bright always puts the children first. They do activities each month & when we all get together you are filled with joy because you see the happy smiling faces of these children. These children are HEROs. Many of them go through so much in their young lives. Thank you Sasha for writing & singing this amazing song. God Bless
