Lionel Cartwright's non-partisan tribute to the men and women who serve us all. Written from a first person perspective, inside the mind of a soldier as he serves on the front lines of battle.

This is probably the best song I've heard in tribute to our troops. Awesome, keep it up!

Ohio's greatest gift to West Virginia! So glad this young man is still making music. Such a gifted songwriter! Thank you, Lionel.

Excellent song and video to accompany it.
As a US Army Medical Corp vet (1987-1992),
I can relate to this song. This tune should be heard by many many more people...spread the word. Great job Mr. Cartwright.

Awesome song ... need more of this, and less of the music wasteland of popular music.

Lionel, that's beautiful and what an incredible tribute. The video is very cool and I hope our men and women can view it over in Iraq. My heart goes out to each and every one of them. God bless them and you for writing such a great song. Judy Boss
