My old guitar & Good Hearted Woman

A bunch of years ago
so many I can't count that high.
I bought me a guitar for a hundred bucks.

The oddest thing about the whole deal
was that it was a pretty good guitar. Still
has pretty good tone actually.
Now this old beat up guitar and I have traveled
all friggen over the place. We lived on a guys
back porch during one of the coldest winters
of my life. Yup, and we lived in 1988 Ford
Econoline E150 it had a giant whole in the
back, so whenever ya stopped at a light
the exhaust fumes came in. One time this
old guitar and I packed ourselves up, screwed
our courage to its sticking place, fell in love, and
moved to Poland. Boy that was fun. We've played
hundreds of shows together, and she will be burnt
with me when Im finished. Flower is mostly retired
from shows, and traveling now, but still enjoys hanging
out, drinking beers, and playing music.

Very cool..I saw Waylon sing this song here in Ottawa about 25 years ago..( I was only 5 years old at the time lol) Flower is a great sounding guitar & sure has been a good friend to you over the years ...Right on Trevor I loved hearing her story

Those were old ass strings too.

I had tried something a bit more

complicated but it was hard moving

my hand through all the corrosion and

rust on the strings.

BTW Whats the temp there?
