A grotto member designed this video, for a college class, by using the audio from a tv special on Rumbling Falls Cave and adding video from his Personal caving trip to RFC. The audio came from a program called Tennessee's Wild Side and the original can be seen at http://www.tnwildside.org/stories.asp?Story=205 . Most of the video shot is in the real cave except for some filler material to go along with the narration. This video was for fun and to highlight this great cave.

Ah, I didn't realize that. My god, it was just sitting there waiting for someone to be-bop on in? That's amazing.
And what a find. One of the neatest things under the earth.

The cave was on the Tennessee cave survey for quite a while before MOS went there. The reason MOS went to the cave was because it was a 65 footer just a short distance off the road. He didnt expect to find what they found. The cave was there for anyone to explore.

This cave's 70 foot pit near the entry would be a blast to do! I have a cave that has a 65 footer but the walls are not even close to being that wide! I would absolutely love to explore that cave!

Nobody scooped anyone here. The cave was found By JFH, reported and left to sit for well over a year with no other interest.
MOS was looking for a quick survey project near his home and chose this one because of it's easy walk. When he found more cave he tried to get JFH to join in on the survey but he said no. His loss! He was asked more than once to come back but had no interest!
Looks like MOS did nothing wrong!

It's neat to see this, since I'll probably never go to Rumbling Falls. It's too bad they didn't show the Rumble River, the 13-mile underground river that rises out of the bottom of the Rumble Room. Just a stupendous cave system. When John Hutchison found the entrance, he couldn't get anyone interested in exploring it. And so he got scooped by the master scooper. You know that's got to burn.

Yeah right, that 70ft vertical drop at the entrance had a lot to do with it.
