  • sweet glare kit man. It flickering because you have cheap chinese HID kit. Throw it in the garbage and get a retrofit.

  • hey bro check out the vid of my buddys scion i just put up it looked just like urs before he got aftermarket projectors with hids hopefully get more vids up soon....nice ride btw

  • Get yourself a relay harness and maybe a capacitor. Non-projector headlight isn't made to be equipped with HID. Hope that you already aim your headlight down. Otherwise, it just blinding other drivers and attracting cops' attentions.

  • Have a 2010 Scion tC. Looking to upgrade to HIDs. Couple of questions.

Do you like the white look to the 6000K's? I have white LEDs over my license plate, so I was gonn'a try sticking with a similar color for the headlights, rather than going to 8000 or 10000K.

How long does it take the headlights to "warm up" when you turn them on? A couple seconds, or what? Do you have both high and low beam 6000K's? I hate the lag on how long it takes for them to warm up on my friend's Subaru WRX.

  • Very nice, i like the diamond blue, and love the tc

  • YOU JUST DONT KNOW HOW TO INSTALL

  • i think the flickering can be avoided by adding a relay harness since it has a fuse in it if the voltage changes it might blow i guss.

  • I actually did an experiment over the HID system.....HID bulbs will flick due to the insufficient voltage/amps of power going into the ballast and bulb. You might have voltage/amp deficit on the driver side of the HID system. Chronic flickering of the bulb will cause the bulb and may cause the ballast to have shorter life period.
