I also got a few turtles for my b day I did lots of research on them before I got them and they are pretty expensive but I love them so to me the price dosent matter :-) squrtill is a funny but fitting name to

Your "uv" light is a heat lamp whitch dosent give the nessasare rays for the turtles bones to grow and If you get a uv light soon your turtle may die :( bring it to a vet or somthing, for your tank you need a 10wat UV UVB light I like the name Leo

aww there so cute ^_^ im sorry about your western painted turtle =( i have a baby Red ear slider i still dont know if its a he or a she or not but im guessing its a he his name is Ninja he turns 1 in June ^_^ also got 2 red claw crabs >_> there in a different tank away from Ninja because he eats practically any thing that enters his tank.

one was $25 and the other one was $20. But the tank was like $40, the heater was $30, the UV light nd post was like $20, and the filter was 70$, so it all adds up lol and there a lot of work actually. you have 2 take them out and clean everyhtign in the tank, actuakky the black 1 on the rock died:( he was sick or sumthing
