@ToyotaBear96 it could mean hes only ever topped it up with water and never changed the coolant witch results in rust inside the cooling system

Its cool (not really) to take the cap off when its hot but never add water to a hot engine! you'll crack the block!

you can cause some serious metal fatigue if you do that. Expect a blown head gasket or cracked head after fixing your cooling system.
