Lola-BMW confirmed. Driver, not so much. It seems they also entered a car that year with a 2L engine as an F1 for Hubert Hahne, so I "saw" Hobbs's F2, but it might be Hahne's "F1".
And as a German on a German team driving an "F1" the German cameras did seem to like him and ignore Hobbs. They also liked him because he got serious air at the flugplatz (and he went out with a broken suspension).
On the other hand Hobbs has always been ready to volunteer for filmed demo lap duty.
