Improvisation in a modern style [Set of Variations], played on the Philippe le Picard-organ [1712] at Gronsveld
Improvisation during a live concert [in 2001] [NL].
This concert was part of the ORGELFESTIVAL organised by the Stichting Samenwerkende Orgelvrienden Limbug [S.O.L.] www.stichting-sol.nl
Willem van Twillert improvised a set of variations inspired by the reconstruction of the Trumpet 8' in the Pedal.
This Pedal Trumpet 8' played a major role in this improvisation because in this concert we celebrated the reconstruction of the Trumpet 8' by the Dutch organ maker VERSCHUEREN at HEYTHUYSEN.
Willem van Twillert dedicates this improvisation to Henk van Loo, the former secretary of the FOUNDATION S.O.L.
RECORDING, Chiel TImmer
