  • Mike, I know that air cooled motors run hotter, and thus might have more sludge. I am wondering with the AMS oil flush, what kind of crap came out when you flushed it?

    Thanks

  • Not a whole lot i had a full flow oil filter on it

  • Hi, nice video. I was thinking of using amsoil in my '61 with a 1600. How is it working out for you, are you having any leaking issues?

  • Hey It was leaking before i put at in but now it a lot better but i used a 20w-50 and my MPG Want down but it starts and runs a lot better. I think next time i will used 20w-40!!

ps: don't forget to do a engine flush before adding amsoil

  • Ran amsoil in my Corvairs for yars. It was like I had the engine balanced while temperatures were more controlled. Use the AMO 10W40 in VWs. Go to syntheticwarehouse ot order.

  • Will do, thanks
