El Palacio de Versalles es el prototipo de la arquitectura francesa clásica. Su origen se remonta hacia 1623 cuando Luis XIII mandó a construir un pabellón de caza.
Posteriormente, su hijo, el joven Luis XIV, encargó a su arquitecto Luis Le Van el embellecimiento y la ampliación del edificio primitivo, obras que continuaron durante todo su reinado....
