Man, I saw the specs and preview for the Sony NEX-FS100 like you said...thank you so much. Now that's my next camera. Hopefully I can get it by September.

yes but I would imagine that depends on the lens and maybe for this test it wasn't really adjusted for. Nice cam and acceptable for most HD channel productions which is nice. Obviously can't compare with film be we are not talking film here. I've seen great footage from this cam and perfectly acceptable for anything I would want. Check out lettuce as well and adpters for this cam I beleive you can get your PL adapters out of England

love the tests! seems like it vignettes quite a bit from time to time and you're right about the 16!

@generalesoo I'm for renting, coz I compared on Utube any 16mm even cheapest looks better than all those HDV suckers.

You might wanna check out the NEX-FS100 as well as the F3 if "you are looking for more depth of filed" and "better low light sensitivity", as well as price comparison. They all produce beautiful images overall.

do you really think this is the best choice for filmmakers among HDV?

It all depends on what your work requires.
Technology is in a constant change every year, new products are introduced to the market, overall what you choose is what you think is conferring you in work.
The EX3 is a little expensive, but “I believe it is a really good camera” if you know how to use it right.
But again you have to do more comparison, look through it all yourself and give it a try first before you buy anything, that way you have a good knowledge on everything before buying.
