@doodlecheesebug2 I didn't know that David Frost spoke to Murray Walker on Breakfast with Frost. I remember Muzza saying after Hill won "and I've got to stop because I've got a lump in my throat" it was a great race great memories.

@GAC1984 Ah yes, Suzuka. I remember watching that morning's "Breakfast with Frost" soon after the news was confirmed about Damon winning the title. I can still see it now - David Frost talking from the studio to Murray Walker in Japan.

@doodlecheesebug2 No lucky it didn't I knew from the start of 1996 if Williams had a good car they would win and I was right. I remember the race at Suzuka when he won it.

@tvcreamguide It's Correct 25th August 1996. I remember the date of The Belgian GP with Damon Hill's pit stop problem. But he took the world championship at the end. It was also a Bank Holiday weekend.
