@pkn431 tall grass doesnt lead to animals it just leads to wheat seeds and animals dont spawn because mobs only spawn 24 blocks away from people but they dont in fact have dirt that has grass 24 blocks away from them

use bonemeal on grass it makes tall grass which leads to animals
