Wonder if there's any interviews with the real Honus around--he was a coach for the Pirates until he was quite old, and would have been around during the radio era, anyway.

There are 58 of those T206 white border cards of Honus Wagner in existence. Only 1 is in mint condition !!

@Amebelodon ~ excellent question and awareness. pittsburgh was spelled without the "h" from 1890 to 1911. the "u.s. board of geographic names" changed it by dropping the "h". apparently there was confusion, a dispute, and/or different spellings of the name. a citizens campaign got the ruling reversed.
