I've been talking with a lot of people in the crowds and most say they would rather see shorter battles with more casualties than long drawn out battles with few casualties. Just something to think about.

Hats off to our Oregon State brothers in arms for putting on a fine re-enactment. I am with the 41st OVI out of Wooster Ohio.

@h2oDomination not excatly normanl your company commande rwill give you a number this number reprosenting a volley, the simpliest way too die is if you ran out of ammo thats happened too me multiple times at reenactments

@Hardrada88 Ya that was an untrue statement most Confederate soldiers were dressed in military uniforms. They just all didnt match each other.

Im not surprised they were "missing" They're like 2 football fields away from each other which wouldnt have happened in a real battle, either way its still cool.

Nice video. It's really too bad that the tactics of the Civil War were too far behind the technology of the time. Fighting in lines, etc. But it really is fascinating to learn our history. 20th MAINE!!!
