Halifax Memorial - South Kyme 13 Nov 2011

A Remembrance Day service at The Halifax Memorial, Skinners Lane,South Kyme.
The Halifax Memorial is located close to the crash site of a Handley Page Halifax bomber (LK954 NA/E) of 428 'Ghost' Squadron RCAF. The aircraft was on its way home from a bombing raid over Nazi Germany when it succumbed to damage from enemy gunfire. The crew, 5 Canadian and 3 British were all lost. This video was shot by Ken Aley of South Kyme. It is lightly edited to reduce the 2 minutes silence to about 45 seconds.
