Richie Coles solo is based on two blues songs. The first is an old Jimmie Lunceford record called 'Im going to move to the outskirts of town' He even quotes Alto saxophonist Willie Smith directly which is very unusual (well perhaps not - Parker use to quote Louis Armstrong in blues; that is probably more unusual). The second song is the well known Night Train. Personally I'd rather hear him play on his own songs (like Tokyo Rose) and be himself more. Still; the crowd liked it so what do I know.
