This summer a groups of student leaders form all over the Northeast gathered in Stoughton, MA to craft strategic real food campaign action plans to take back to campus this academic year. There were students from 10 different colleges and universities in the New England and New York. This year, 11 of them will be engaging in the Real Food Challenge's Grassroots Leaders Project committing to bring their campus to shift 20% of food purchases towards local, fair, ecologically sound, and humane food by 2020.
