This is a 214 MW steam turbine rotor which is unusual because it has the high pressure, intermediate pressure, and low pressure sections all on the same rotor. The video shows some of the steps during field machining and low speed balancing.

  • Looks like a Davis LSB machine.

  • i don't think ive seen an hp/ip/lp rotor.. usually we get HP/IP then a double flow LP rotor. now those throw off some wind durring balancing.
