The Avatar Candle Project: What You Need To Know

"Regardless of how positive this forum (and fanon) is being about TLA, things arent looking too good. I cant be the only one worried about how this will affect future Avatar-verse things/Bryke's career. Actually, were I them, I think I'd feel like I just gave some guy the keys to the car I'd built with my own hands out of metal I mined and smelted myself..and when the guy finally gets back, my baby's covered in dents and spray paint. So uh, I was thinking!

We should figure out something to do as a community that lets the people in charge know that regardless of how good or bad a job people think M Night did, we dig the Bryke and the Avatar world....and we want moar. It's about a love of the animated series, not a hatred of anything else.

The problem of course is ...what do we do? A website? Mailing physical letters/fanart/whatever? What do you think we could do?"

The answer? All of the above.

No matter what side of the fandom's various arguments you've found yourself in over the years, be it shipping or movie drama or anything in between, if you're like most Avatards, you've loved the show at its core.

The purpose of this project is to express our support for all of the people who made Avatar happen, and show them that we're still behind them no matter what happens with the movie.

-Is the LastGreatFireBender, I admire what you guys have started, and I've taken the liberty of carving the 4 nation symbols into candles. Haha, it's now a literal 'candle project.'

I will try and send them either Mike or Bryan asap, and I will post pictures of the finished candles in the Kataang forums, under the Candle project section. :]

I've said it once, and I'll say it again. I may not have the money at the moment to buy the box set (but I'm saving), I'll still support Bryke in their quest to create Legend of Korra as a die-hard Avatar fan. <3 Lets do this, everyone!
