Firstly the funding of my campaign comes from the mighty Joao II, who gave me two caravels and over 40000 gold coins (I was supposed to use these to discover the Cape of Good Hope though ;p ). Then I left Lisbon and went to Crete, and (as I wished) I encountered a Muslim fleet on the way...

Too bad they didn't release the game in North America.

I loved Uncharted Waters, and I didn't get to play UW3 Costa Del Sol or UW4 Porto Estada.

@drunkensailor112 I've only ever played 3, but I didn't own it myself. It belonged to a friend of mine and I never did know what I was doing in the game. But I had a lot of fun sailing around. My friend who knows Japanese showed me what to do, so I was able to get a basic understanding. But not in the way that I have when playing New Horizons or even UWO.

@Kisk79 did you finish both of them? recently I got gaiden for the saturn. I've only had little time of playing it but looked and seemed so awesome already. I think I was the son of khayr ad din and I lost a bttle and was sent back to algiers. how different is gaiden? are the extra towns or places to visit? ships?

@drunkensailor112 Gaiden was Uncharted waters 4. Costa Del Sol was indeed Uncharted Waters 3, and one of the more interesting looking games in the series in my opinion. Quite open ended, with a lot of different outcomes. Shame it was never released in English.

from searching internet a bit this us uncharted waters 4!! and not 3. uncharted waters 3 was called gaiden and I have ordered it from ebay for my saturn

@nwpamundsen How about making a campaing for a professional translator translate it? There are some working for free on DS translations, of course some money would catch they attraction xD

yep it is the only one that has in land cities! runs pretty good under virtual pc. Difficulty is high at the start due to the save/load system, but gets easier as the game progresses, and the locations are always the same

I don't know, i don't know - maybe it's a good thing this wasn't released in english - looks too diferent from part 1 and 2 - the graphics could of been more detailed too - I would pay alot of money to have this version or part 4 in english though - i think i would pay up to a thousand bucks

I don't think so. we can only wish for it
