A note about Ulquiorra Cifer as depicted here: he's voiced by...well, he's uncredited, but he seems to waver between sounding like Roger Craig Smith (who has actually denied having played the part) and Steve Blum, depending on what he's saying, but in the anime he is voiced by Tony Oliver, whereas Grimmjow is always voiced in English by David Vincent.

I think it's interesting that Ulquiorra never uses his sword and rarely pulls his other hand out of his pocket. Most every move is done with one hand or, interestingly his foot.

I have no idea where they got his ultimate move from, because I really don't think that's one of his powers for battle...he just relays information with the "eye crushing technique" after all. Oh well, it's kinda interesting anyway.

  • it's a top selling game?

  • @narutomanfan123 Well, Ulquiorra said so...he and other Bleach characters seem to be buying it without necessarily knowing what to make of it beforehand: Ichigo bought it, told Renji to get it, so now Byakuya owns one, Shuhei got one, Aizen speaks of his subordinates' privileges with it...man, so many!

Actually, the characters in this game bought it, and the characters within those games also bought it... I had no idea merchandising could run amok recursively! It's an "infinite-selling" game!

  • whaaat? Where´s the mysterious-n-goose-bumps-giving-Ulquiorra voice...?!

  • @KikaPictures This game was apparently localized in English before they'd cemented the roles, so Tony Oliver hadn't yet been cast in the role like you hear in the English adaptation of the series proper.

No offense to this particular version of Ulquiorra, of course, but I also happen to think that Tony's performance is a much better fit for the role.

(David Vincent, however, would indeed reprise his role as Grimmjow in this game in the rest of the series.)

  • they didn't use their swords :,(

  • @eleeover9000 Yep, this game was made back when Ulquiorra and Grimmjow had only shown up to cause a little trouble and were strong enough compared to the main cast that they didn't even need to draw their swords to wipe the floor with nearly everyone to cross their paths anyway.

ulquiorra: well... if you consider it as somehow hitting the bin bag with dark energy then trying some vodoo x trick on the garbage and then killing it, i suppose it's the best way of treating trash
