At least three people have been killed during a day of rare anti-government protests in Egypt, reports say.

Thousands joined the demonstrations after an internet campaign inspired by the uprising in Tunisia.

In the capital, Cairo the protesters hurled rocks at the police who fired tear gas in response.

This is a brief history of Egypt

  • WE'RE NOT READY FOR A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE! humanity is fucked

  • ( Now (you believe) while you refused to believe before and you were one of the Mufsidûn (evil-doers, corrupters). So this day We shall deliver your (dead) body (out from the sea) that you may be a sign to those who come after you! And verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs , revelations, etc.).)quran (10:91-92) MUBARAK the TYRANT must go

  • zionist cowardice. they are too craven to condemn the turkish genocide of the armenians (on the contrary, they support it's denial). were too craven to distance themselfes from apartheid south africa (for the sake of their own well being and arms deals). too craven to support the democartization of egypt (although they always talk pf democratization). but most shocking is that half of the world hesitates in supporting the protest movement in egypt because of israels hysterical fears.

  • inshaAllah the spread of shari'ah will begin in the Arab countries and spread across the globe!!! ameen ya rubb!

  • @keramosta2011 I am Ayoub from Morocco, we're all following the blessed revolution of our dearest Egyptians go on don't stop

    Our turn is coming IA

  • After Algeria came Tunisia and then Algeria and now Egypt. The wave is moving eastward until it reaches the whole Arab world: Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Syria etc...

I love the verse of Abu Al Kassim Chabi (rahimaho Allah) when he said: "When the population demand its freedom one day - Surely fate will respond"

  • The Arab population haven't tasted real freedom for a long time and don't know really how to get it peacefully because of the tyrant rulers who used their population for their own means and interests. They did not educate their people, they did not feed their people correctly, they DON'T LOVE THEIR PEOPLE. So what do you expect from a population ignorant of its civics rights? Of course burst their anger in violence. May God bless those who died for their freedom and those who are injured

  • As I see in this video the thirst for freedom and getting out of the yoke of a rotten regime that rules its people with a fist of iron...I being an Algerian am really for the Egyptians to stand up for themselves. This should've been done a long time ago. Sorry but this is the only way in the Arab world to get freedom and the so called democracy.
