It's thought to be one of history's first examples of workers taking power, but the Paris Commune that overthrew the French government in 1871 is shrouded in secrecy, despite the fact that historians say the period contains powerful political lessons.

  • @Dezzreck Yes i agree with you at a 100% i have to admit Lenin was not a 100% democratic but he was still better than Mao or Stalin.

P.S: I like Stalin's theories of socialism and communism but i strongly disagree with his paranoia and his purges.

  • @LeninistStalinMarx I'm not a Leninist but I will admit that Lenin was important in spreading socialism, as well as bringing progress to Russian society. I'm just personally against the authoritarian means he used to accomplish these things.

  • @Dezzreck Lenin was a great socialist and should be rememberd in the hearts of all socialists and communists, he is a man that created great socialist ideals and thanks to him socialism and communism achieved a great succes. But you are right about the Mao part, Mao was a piece of crap.

  • @brahmbhattbhavna So your saying that Lenin and Mao were successful? They failed to bring about true socialism and caused more harm than good in my opinion.

  • We rise again

  • no mao + no lenin = no success

  • Vive la Commune!

  • @cris750 Screw the Menshiviks also, they didn't care about the people,it would have been cool if the anarchists had won.

  • @PavedStones It is an important diference between Marx and anarchists:Marx wanted centralization but anarchists didn't,because centralization means concentration of power in the hands of some and it would stay in the way of real democratic worker's revoluiton.
