wow to this day, after ive seen so many magicians n tricks, learnt so many sleights, performed so many times, even watched this trick many times,

tommy wonder still manages to hold my breath every time, just a true true entertainer n magician!

@come2u2cu Well, Friedemann, a minor third wouldn't necessarily make us cry. It's only a semitone in a different place. I don't think we should let ourselves get carried away. Life is more fun with being open and honest. There will always still be mystery no matter how open we are so I guess your question resolves itself. It's mainly magicians and magic students who read here so I don't regard discussing methods as out of place. I'll happily discuss presentation too. Keep smiling :)

@come2u2cu The card in the box is a blank dupe. He has the signed card folded in his other hand & tips out the box into his hand like the shuttle pass where the switched object is retained in finger palm, the dupe folded card is retained in the box, I figured exactly how that is done just by watching. DVDs not needed. Kaps did it in a similar way in some shows. People think the box is gimmicked. It isn't apart from having a folded card preloaded. That's the method on that one :)

@come2u2cu Hehehe, don't worry, I don't need to buy his DVDs I pretty much know how it is all done anyway!! Like his ambitious card I knew he was doing double lifts, & his folding card, I explained when he folded it and how a dupe folded card was already in the box. Others pretend that this is not the method because they want to knock people off the scent! There's nothing like magicians throwing a hissy fit over exposure, I have seen it all :) And yes the true secret is presentation.

@CaraBrimleyRules oh, don't get me wrong, I was trying to sound sarcastic. What I meant was (other than that your explanation isn't even true and wouldn't work, try it yourself!) that any performance is far more than just the secret. And Tommy Wonder doesn't give a fuck about the secret. I know how it's done and I'm STILL in awe. Try doing that. In order to get there buy his DVDs he explains some thinking behind his stories which is the best reason to buy the set.
