Water footprint is a term used to describe all the water consumed in growing, creating, manufacturing, transporting and producing a product. Justin Castleman, licensed master plumber and owner of Castleman & Sons Plumbing Inc., Franklin, Wisconsin, discusses how water footprints impact all of us, and how it will change the future. Reducing water consumption is the goal of the US EPA Water Sense program. This video is part three of a series, recorded at the Green Up Greendale Water Conservation event, which included topics such as "Green & Eco-Friendly" Water fixtures, high efficiency plumbing designs and the future of water conservation in Franklin, Wisconsin and North America.
