Wisconsin Rustic Road 39, Door County

Monday, October 10, 2011 — Bailey's Harbor, WI — I traveled this 2.5 mile road on my 1992 Yamaha Virago XV750 as part of a 189-mile Rustic Road tour.

From the Wisconsin DOT web site: "R39 provides panoramic views of heavily wooded and lake shore areas. The Old Lighthouse Point Natural Area and the Ridges Sanctuary Wildlife Area abound in wildlife and feature many rare native plants."
