All young ballet students aspire to be en pointe. However, there are many requirements that must be met before a student is determined strong enough. Charles Maple explains some of these requirements in this week's podcast! Note: always get approval from your ballet instructor prior to beginning pointe work.

  • @THEAWESUM700 your cool

  • @brianna123101 Pointe is like high level ballet in a way, but it's really the style and type of shoe. Most ballet dancers who are young/beginners wear leather or canvas shoes with no solid toe cap, so they don't go on their toe. Theis video talks about pointe shoes, which means they have a hard box in the bottom, and with a LOT of practice, they can go onto their toes (en pointe) and do crazy turns and such =] It's very hard, and a huge honor in dance.

  • can someone please tell me: what is the difference from Pointe and Ballet??

  • @vctryrose actually that's the muscle that she's gained from dance, most dancers don't have stick thin legs.

  • @pianofreak982010 i'm not trolling is just that she is a lil bit fat it's ok if she doesn't want to be a perfect dancer ;)

  • @vctryrose dont troll, its rude.
