They don't want it closed because they can still make good money from advertising, even if the users will be less - yet the youngs looking for music and films will still come to YT to see the new brainwashing propaganda films made by Holywood, unnecessary gadgets or the latest videoclip with black ''gangsta's'' and blonde girls kissing black guys .

I don't like it either. But they're people out there who seriously likes it.

1st of all, isn't just youtube pushing shit. Google has new policies, and that will be in effect on March 1st. Facebook has had some changes, Twitter just changed, I didn't even do anything and my twitter layout comepletely flipped.

I feel like my rights are sorta being taking away, like for gods sake, atleast give us a choice!!!

If you are a musician, artist, movie studio, etc., this new layout will cripple you in so many ways. Gone are the days of creating an awesome customized page. Gone are the days of being able to add friends that might be inclined to support what you are doing. I'm starting to think that this is being done to shut down creative people who would give an alternative to all the mainstream garbage being shoved down everyone's throats. In a nutshell, IT FUCKING SUCKS!

This is why I personally prefer my old channel the best, because the new channel designs will not display all of what's on my profile (music preferences, hobbies/interests, info about me, etc), and that's so fucked up and shitty!!!!

@StormReturns If SOPA or PIPA passes, you can just kiss the internet away. So lets hope that doesn't get passed. What I wanted to see youtube do is keep making a bunch of new designs for people to choose for, but not get rid of the one that started it. I really don't know why they are pushing it. The gray is boring, but I can deal with it.

@13Ooakspiritartist I agree i just recently found out about that site ZippCast...and to my surprise it looks almost completely identical to the original YouTube...if anything if this new design hapens we should go there.
