  • We raised 2 bouviers from puppies many years ago and have rescued 3 adults, each of which had its own problems. So my husband insisted we get another puppy, so that it would grow up to be as perfect as our first 2 were.

The puppy we purchased is now 5 months old and never was & still is not as calm as Paddy! I do not remember our first 2 being this frenetic! But at least she is a happy girl and all of her biting is puppy biting--and only on US.

I hope Paddy is still as great as he was then.

  • What a beautiful dog and so smart. I guess with a bouvier you want him to be well trained.

  • I especially loved the bounce command, it's adorable. I have never heard of this breed, so I have to do a Google search. :-)

  • AWESOME!!! I have had two Bouvs over the years. Lost the last one in April and our new pup will be here in 4 weeks. Best dogs ever!!

  • Very lovely trained. Bouviers are such beutiful dogs! I have a bouv also and I know that there the best dogs ever! Love them

  • He is something else! And you do a very fine job with him. could you tell me, where/from whom do you glean your training techniques and hand signals? Do you have a specific recommendation for a book or method? thanks!

  • @deepindebtinnc lost my bouvier in cancer to :( he was 11.. New trick every week :)

  • I love your videos! My Bouvier could do 35 tricks and was still learning at age 10. I lost him this month to cancer. I miss Bennington terribly. One day I'll get another...

  • Yes, he is probably teething. Make sure he has some toys to chew on. Tell him "no bite" and give him a toy when he nips you.

  • +1! I also have a bouvier (my fourth), and I can't imagine life without a bouvier. Paddy is a splendid, intelligent puppy, and it's clear that he gets a lot of good love and training.
