what? motobike insurance for me. 21years old. On a Suzuki Bandit 600N is £280 for the year. In a car, a vauxhal corsa 1L for example. It's £1600... Hows motorbike insurance expensive? Also, I have 6 points.

@UniversalTruths In my experience, I dont find bike insurers to be any cheaper. My insurance on a 125 is about 70-80 a year for tp/f/t. Used a comparison site. The quotes I got from bike specialising companies were double that.

@P1LGY Still a lot cheaper than an equivalent group 15-16 car would be at your age.

It also varies a lot by postcode and model. My last three Italian bikes were the same insurance group as my previous litre Japanese bikes (Blade and GSXR) but are more expensive to insure.

expensive not in the uk its not.. must be all the crap riders in the states if your going to show off expect to come off your bike at sometime i been riding bikes over 22 years and have never felt the need to do burn outs and wheelie's down the streets guess that why my insurance is so cheap as i never have to claim for parts as i dont ride like a total knob head

@digster575 looking frame by frame the bike isnt going much faster than the other vehicle in the clip... the car should have looked to see if it was safe to cross with the amount of time needed for the speed of their car... biker did nothing wrong... btw statistics show its safer for a motorcyclist to go about 5-10 mph faster than traffic...
