@zSkeeeT yes she will! Just because she has down syndrome doesn't mean she can't play the piano!

OMG! Totally agree with you on this. My sister has Downs Sydrome too, and she is super strong also. I pissed her off one time, and she waited until I was sitting in the floor, got behind me put me in a headlock and drug me across the floor until I started turning blue. I guess thats what I get for breaking one of her Elvis mugs.

@HONEYMONSTA95 Stupid Asshole. People with down syndrome are the NICEST, SWEETEST PEOPLE YOU COULD EVER MET. They dont judge anyone and if you are nice to them THEY WILL REMEMBER YOU FOREVER. I met this girl with down when me and her were in kindergarten and then i lost communication with her in 2nd grade. 15 years later i ran into her in the mall and she ran up to me gave me a hug, that warm feeling a kind heart of hers was soo strong it brought the old things back and i knew that it was cristy

@DarkMoonLightMist ah, people who make assy comments are just trying to get a rise out of people. most of them probably don't mean it, and if they do, they're just morons. weak people have always looked for the physically weak to prey on them. but it's nice that we have so many good people in this world working to protect people with disabilities and to help them out. standing here amid the shrapnel of idiocy, i can still say the world is generally actually a decent place.

I'm not sure how I got here but I don't know a lot about people with Downs Syndrome. Thank you for educating me!

These people are beautiful people they may have to live through lots of bad stuff but they are good people.
if we support them it makes us feel better to.
This video made me cry. I wish that everyone could see just how beautiful and special people with DS are. The other day a guy at McDonald's was calling a 12 year old boy with DS a retarded monkey. Let's just say I gave him a piece of my mind. The employees threw him out of the restaurant and another man told him that if he ever said anything like that again, by the time he got through with him, he'd be the one looking like a retarded monkey. I'm glad attitudes in society are changing.

This should have eleven things because the number one thing that EVERY person w/a disability wants you to know is:
WE ARE PEOPLE TOO!!! There is no need to feel sorry for us or "fix" us because we can do things, just like "normal" people. We just might need a little extra time doing it or a little extra help (which is NOT an anagram for "do it for us") :-).
