Our family has had a pretty rough year. We lost my brother in law last April, my mother in law in November and my grandmother last week. In the middle of all of that, my 13 year old son was diagnosed with Type I Diabetes. Most days I can trust God and do my best to "Count it all joy..." (James 1:2). Then there are other days. Thank you, Laura. This song and your story is an encouragement to me.

I heard this song as I was driving to church and was so moved by it. I'm going through divorce and dealing with chronic nerve pain. I was able to stop and think beyond right now, as well as realize things God is teaching me through all this. Thank you so much for sharing!

well i am an aspie and i have had cancer,oh it affects my memory so i can say this song has touched me. i have lost people i know through cancer one of my friends who died had a 7 year old girl she is a christian and sings she is now 16..she has a wonderful voice...jeff

@donhillk I have to tell you that I will pray for you/family/your son. My brother , back in July was sentenced to 2 yrs. in prison. We had been praying that he would not have to serve any more time. When we were on the way to his sentencing this song came on the radio. I knew that God's plan was in place and he would have to serve his time. Before this chapter started, my brother didn't believe in Jesus or want any part of that "religious crap" . But, praise God he does now. God is at work!

I lost my 19 year old son to alcohol poisoning March 2009, my youngest daughter at 16 to suicide December 30.....then my wife took her life too June 15 2010. Through this all, I've grown closer to Jesus through his Word. God works wonders and I will see them again....we have hope ONLY in Jesus that we shall be made new, healed and renewed for eternity, thanks to the blood Jesus shed on the cross for our sins...He is my ONLY hope.
