@mrgrummus: But in this case, he's saying "its skin"; think of "The cat licked its paw", where it doesn't mean "it is paw".

To all who think pronoun possessives have apostrophes:
me -> my/mine
you -> your/yours
it -> its
No apostrophe in any of these possessives. Or in plurals, for that matter.

Or else it get's the ho'se again.

@CP353017 You idiot. You have it exactly backwards. Re-read my post.

@Johnwhite977 the comma after "grammar" is unnecessary. It's "people *who* focus on rules...", not "...people *that* focus on rules...". That sentence should end at "expectations" and the next one should be "They stay within the lines."
The rest needs to be completely razed to the ground and rebuilt from scratch. Or else you get the hose again.
Just saying.

@yascumbag This was Buffalo Bill's first confrontation with The Law.
Naturally, we were easy on him.
One of our friendly counselors gave him
A do-nut... and told him to
Stick closer to church-oriented social activities.
@IAmDanIAmNotSam You don't know what you're talking about. No matter the narrative context here, "it's" is always a contraction for "it is."
