  • its a 04

  • @ktmrider53 How do you know?

  • @tobyeo my father in-law has one in Iran, i'll tell you its a nice bike and his is a 04 and it looks like this one. If im not mistaken he got it in Holland.

  • @ktmrider53 Ok, just wanted to see b/c from ~2000 to 2008 they all look the same, so if there isnt something that stands out for sure, it could be any one of those years. Even 2009 models can look like that.

  • Sweet video, hope it never kicks back with that starting technic. Man that thing sounds healthy

  • @HEMITKN They call that starting technique the back kick, so hope the it doesnt kick back while doing the back kick.

  • He kicks it like stupid. That technique is not good for sure, at least not good for kickstarter mechanism.

  • @ktmrider53 What I can't figure out is how can't someone know what year the bike is who made this video when they OWN the bike and it's STAMPED on the steering head part of the frame or has a plate riveted onto it WITH the date and model.. ???? How can someone now know????

  • @tobyeo They call that the last way to try to start a bike. I have a left side kickstart 1985 CanAm 250 and that's one way I NEVER kickstart it. You have to LEARN to kick it with your left leg. Deal with it, lol. What's worse on the CanAm someone designed the kickstart shaft to be hollow, something you would never do, with the shifter shaft coming out the center.... saves space but makes the kickstart shaft an inevitable destructive piece which mine crumbled eventually. Parts? VERY rare!

  • 500ccm 2 stroke ?!?!

    O.O

  • Who kicks a bike like that? Just jump on it.

  • is the maico for street or forest?

  • id shit my pants kicking a 500 2-stroke that way! saw my friend flying over the fence, because he didnt kick it properly through .. his foot was completely finished ..

  • @PaddyWackem Great minds think alike

  • @vrednie I was just about to type the same thing! Pity they put the kicker on the wrong side hey? Nice looking bike!

  • Sounds nice and nasty!!!
