They should have counted his time as a human from the moment he become mostly (carbon based) organic... NOT from the time he was manufactured. He would not have been over 200 years old.

Bicentennial Man was actually a very well made and poignant film, but it was so heartbreaking depressing that I almost can't bear to watch it again.

I have no idea why, it's probably the least darkest films ever made, but has one of the most heartbreakingly sad endings I've ever seen. I just couldn't help but cry.

It's not just sad becouse they die togheter, but he looses his first love.. little miss so basically he sees three generations die before he actually meets porcia
