"pffft "... Longest Risk game ever ? ... i don't thing so (lol) ... me and my brothers played a game of Risk that Lasted for 2 WEEKS , battling it out each freakin day (starting on a Saturday), at a minimum of 12 to 16 hours per day (on the weekends) , and from 5 to 7 hours per day/night (after school) from Monday thru Friday ... "phew", that was the best (and longest) Risk game we ever played !!... and i won. =D

@32stealthindustries Middle east has 6 borders, making it a powerful country to launch attacks from. it is easy to defend, as you can combine forces there if attacked from east or west. and it is a necessity for Asia, and the easiest place to deny control of the continent. Russia and china also have six borders.

every game of risk feels like the longest game

@russellkid117 I played a game that lasted roughly a week. It was a 5 person game if I remember correctly, and we played straight down to the last man standing.

How does a game even last more than like eight hours? With two people, some1 will have the upper hand by the third turn, as long as their both going for complete continents. Playing other variations like 2210 (playing without the 5 turn cap) take much MUCH longer, and the longest Ive played of that was 8 hours or so, but the longest game of normal Risk was like 5. Even with more people I havent gone higher than six 1/2 hours.

Dude one time me and my friend played Risk straight for 34 hours straight for 15 days, this is definitely not a game for the feint of heart. But I would expect any newb to be satisfied with a measley ten hours of gameplay. Challlenge me I dare you. I'm like a lightning monkey on aderol.
