WHAT DOES BADASS SQUARES MEAN?
Square is another term for nerd or geek. Many developers and IT gurus would traditionally be considered square but The Badass Squares want to challenge this view because badass is the new rock star and Badass Squares are the new cool. What better way to make this point than to remake one of the greatest opening movie credits of all time? The opening credit scene of Reservoir Dogs is regarded the world over as having the ultimate coolness factor. Not only that but it is directed by Quentin Tarrantino who includes a Dutch element in all of his movies and the theme song, Little Green Bag, is by George Baker, a Dutch musician. Thanks to EMI for giving us permission to use this track. The final piece is the puzzle is that Compuware Uniface is a Dutch development environment.

For the history buffs - the term square originates from 1940s jazz as the opposite in meaning to the term crazy. If you were hip and cool, you were crazy but if you were unhip you were a square. Tarantinos scene in Pulp Fiction references this but the animation of the square, is part of a cult of popular culture dating back decades, which can be seen here:
