  • Interesting that he won't even SEE the people. This is so typical of him.

He's going DOWN soon and I can't wait to celebrate!

  • Facts are important, not just 1 line answers.

True, Bush did increase the deficit. But, we also had a completely new Bureaucracy to create and fund after 9/11. We did have a recession during the changeover. We did have 3 major disasters, sadly, we have 2 wars & the opposition party did take over in 2006, controlling the purse strings.

Removing these items, and you'll see Bush raised the deficit by about 1.3 trillion. But, still, there is a lot more to the story.

It's not so cut & dry.

  • Double, 5-6 times? Get your facts straight.

I lived in a Soc Dem, Germany and Italy. Highest level of welfare, not living. The $ to support them comes from them, it's a self defeating take from the left hand, give to the right. Do the math. When it runs out, they take more, or they form a Union-ha, and tax everyone to near death.

We're not perfect, but we have the most successful Nation on the planet, even in bad times.

Heard nothing from me then? BS! You weren't listening.

  • Vote the old fart out!

  • Actually our property taxes are really really low and is part of the reason why we are in a budget crisis so much. If you think about it, California is conservative in the way that we spend in the form of propositions, yet we are too selfish/stupid to raise taxes.

  • um please. CA has one of the highest tax rates in the United States, plus CA has been living out of its means for a long time. Plus notice how most of the programs are social programs, what do you think will happen if health care "reform" is passed.

  • You are very correct-

  • it refers to in laymens terms- wasteful non productive spending- ie. Austin park fence, non profit jets, Murtha Airport, turle funding research ect. kinda what was in the stimulus crook bill.

  • hahahaha porkulus? what the fuck republicans

  • I'm glad you don't live here.

We don't need anymore conservatives shitting up the place.
