  • @unknownn525 You make me laugh, a comment coming from someone that has 0 videos uploaded. Try making your own and see how easy it is to please everyone.

  • So it is now called ADHD instead of ADD? Is that what your saying? I am just trying to understand something.

  • @sholloway410 Yes, it pretty much has always been called ADHD. This is since the 80s.

  • Nice self-help adhd vids! Just as an FYI: In DSM-5 (the head-case-manual 5th edition), the 3 subtypes will be dropped.

So no more ADHD hyperactive-impulsive, inattentive or combined types. It'll be only 1 type of disorder, just with various degrees of hyperactivity.

Very hyperactive ADHD people will have just that. Those who call themselves type "ADD", will have ADHD with low hyperactivity according to the psychiatrists. Semantics really, the hyperactivity varies over time in all of us anyway ;)

  • ADD is worse for school but someone with ADD will do better after school especially when sluggish.

I am sluggish, I can barely read, love chess, great at poker (no tells), been playing RTS games since I was 3, and I am great at computer programming.

I am a problem solver but school (currently in college) a different story. Requires structure and motivation things I lack.

It can be worse but it can be better. I realized I could program naturally, don't ask me to read a book or remember vocab.

  • thanks 4 uploading

  • @techepix I wasn't talking about your IQ. I was referring to the comment previous to that one, about ADHD and asberger being shite. I don't think you can be misdiagnosed with a high IQ, that would be preposterous :P Seeing as ADHD is more researched than virtually any other disorder, I don't think you have the knowledge to claim they don't exist only based on your own personal experience (one persons experience, only 1), that's all.

  • @techepix or maybe you were misdiagnosed. Wow, you considered ALL the options except the obvious one... Sry didn't mean to sound like an asshole just there, it's late.

  • I believe this is "DJ Valium".

  • @Vegheadsrock ADD is not worse. There is no such thing as ADD. There is ADHD type 1, type 2, and combined type. If one is sluggish, it most likely is a sugar problem. Cut out the sugar and lower the carbs, increase the proteins.
