I'm not sure exactly but do you have any ideas on Persephone's obession, I've heard rumors but as I said I don't have a clue, any ideas?

@MissionXXXXX No idea tbh, it was always one of those strange plot points that didn't get explored. I vaguely remember in Ben Chamberlain's notes for the rest of the story that was going to happen before the game got shut down it mentioned that she wanted a real body (like the Oligarchs) to be able to experience "real" physical contact.

The Oligarchs created the Matrix to control machines and trick them into keeping the human race alive inside the Matrix Sim. In turn they created the One and Zion to combat the problem of Humans who reject the Matrix.

Not sure if this is what the Wachowksi Borthers had in mind when they created the films but SoE pretty much went their own way with it at this stage.

Not quite, the Oligarchs were actually wholely unaware of Zion or the cycle of The One. Hence Halborn's initial surprise at finding awakened humans and his fanatical pursuit of The One, a carrier of the Trinity Program which, again, the Oligarchs didn't know of. It was also never explained whether or not they invented the Matrix or not but Ben Chamberlain's notes before his departure would suggest otherwise, they were too obsessed creating their own bickering states to care.

wtf? im so confused. During :41 to :51 that was the real world correct? didnt that look like an agent standing on the ledge? i thought agents only existed in the matrix. who was watching that and how? can a program in the matrix see the real world from the matrix?

That was indeed the Real, however, that was a video recording from the end of Revolutions. That wasn't an Agent, it was Neo confronting Deus Ex Machina.

As for who was watching, it was later revealed to be a member of an organisation known as the Oligarchs, a society of humans who had power over the machines and live outside their system of control.

I'm kind of confused between the cinematic comic scenes and the other ones are they of the same story? One seems to be of the game cut-scenes and the other is in comic book form? How many are there in each one? I'd like to see each one but am confused keeping track! Is there a cinematic with them completely together in separate form so I don't have to switch between the two? Is there more information about these two so I don't have to keep searching the web for it?!

Anyone know where to read most of the story plot of the game? i never played it but I want to know what happened in between cinematic
