i have taken it twice. it truly is hell on earth!! its been many years now since i took the first treatment and my health has been horrible since then. i wouldn't recommend that anyone touch the stuff unless you are absolutely desperate and even then?? when this man says that he felt like he had a blowtorche held to his knee, he means it. unlike him, i have had eight episodes of blowtorche leg, one a year, each lasting for around four months.they started while taking interferon watch out.

Has anyone whom has had interferon in past,now suffering from mental concerns?

I was on interferon and ribavirin for 72 weeks and did not have any side effects. I was convinced it wasn't working or I was doing something in correctly for the first few weeks. I have been virus-negative for over two years. Reactions to treatment are different person to person.

Part 2-Major memory loss -you can forget how to do simple math. First time I've ever experienced panic attacks and a breakdown.

I also HATE needles, so giving myself the shot could take sometimes half an hr.

Luckily the treatment worked for me but I still have anxiety and mild panic attacks. I swear my memory is worse now too.

Part 1-These are the symptoms (I remember): Fever, chills, sweating, scratching, nausea, eating issues, weight loss... Paranoia- couldn't walk on the street with people, thought people at work were out to get me. Moments of rage. Major depression to the point of hearing voices and every emotion is x100 but rarely happiness.
